Manual task injuries account for a large proportion of injuries that occur in Western Australian workplaces. This course is designed to assist participants in identifying, assessing and controlling hazards associated with manual tasks. It also caters to supervisory staff and all personnel involved with manual task processes.
On completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Apply the Code of Practice Manual Tasks 2010
- Discuss risk factors associated with manual tasks
- Assess risk factors
- Identify methods to control risks associated with manual tasks
- Address correct manual handling techniques
On successful completion of this course, participants will be issued with a certificate of attendance.
