The Hazardous Chemicals in the Workplace course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills to effectively identify, assess, and manage the hazards and risks associated with hazardous chemicals and dangerous goods in the workplace.

This program delivers a comprehensive overview of Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation and relevant Codes of Practice governing hazardous chemicals and dangerous goods, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Participants will learn how to safely manage chemicals throughout their lifecycle—including labelling, storage, handling, transport, and disposal—while understanding the importance of risk control measures, health monitoring, and emergency preparedness.

Training is delivered through a blend of interactive presentations, case studies, group discussions, and practical activities, ensuring participants gain both theoretical understanding and practical capability to apply hazard management principles in real workplace environments.

Through reflective learning, peer support, and practical application, participants will:
