The Work Health & Safety Foundation (WHS Foundation) is our new brand which emerged from the Industrial Foundation for Accident Prevention (IFAP) in March 2022.
IFAP was founded in 1972 as Western Australia’s only not-for-profit occupational safety and health provider.
For fifty years IFAP served the Western Australian community providing safety and health education and training services.
IFAP has rebranded as the WHS Foundation which retains the not-for-profit foundation part of our name and aligns our business directly with the new Work Health and Safety (WHS) harmonised legislation for Western Australia.
WHS Foundation is evolving to be a broader provider of work health and safety services to Western Australian workplaces including business, industry, government and the not-for-profit sector.
WHS Foundation is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC)
As WA’s leading not-for-profit WHS service organisation our members come first. Every day we give our members real benefits, from discounts on training courses and consulting services to savings on events, awards entry and so much more. We reinvest our profits back into helping our members and the community improve workplace health and safety throughout WA. We give you savings on training, consultancy services, Safeway Awards and more. In return your membership helps fund our WHS Advocacy work and is a demonstration of your commitment to safe and healthy workplaces.
Whether you are an individual or small / medium / large business our membership works for you.
